An AI-powered, over-the-counter hearing device we're building for the 63 million+ Indians living with hearing loss — most of whom will never see a clinic.

The problem

Fewer than 3% of Indians who need a hearing aid use one. Clinical devices cost ₹30,000–3,50,000 and require repeat audiologist visits — out of reach for most, and avoided out of stigma by many more. Left untreated, hearing loss is also linked to higher dementia risk, social isolation and loss of livelihood.

What we're building

lemme Z is designed to look and work like an everyday earbud, not a medical device. The plan: an in-app AI hearing test (no clinic, no booth), a device that self-calibrates to each person's hearing and environment, and a target price of ₹9,999 — a fraction of a clinical aid.

We're currently in early development: finalising the device design with OEM hardware partners and preparing for clinical validation in partnership with IIRS&R, our audiology and community partner. We are not yet selling a product — this page exists so you can follow along and reach out.

Why us

lemme Z comes from the team behind lemme be., a D2C wellness brand that took on a stigmatised health category (period care) and built real distribution — Amazon, quick commerce, and a community of engaged customers. We're applying that same demand-creation and distribution playbook to a bigger, more urgent gap.

Every Lemme Be Ritual Calendar sold already pledges 10% of profit to Aastha Foundation, Bhubaneswar, funding hearing aids for children today — a first step toward the mission lemme Z is built for.
